Here is a message from the KCGOP, updating plans for phone banks and the final push before election day. Note that we can make calls from Hutchison HQ or from KCGOP offices in Bellevue if you are in that area.

KCGOP Team –

We are working in conjunction with the Hutchison campaign and other local campaigns to plan a Phone Bank Super Saturday the last Saturday before Election Day. We’re heading into the final push and we need to make sure we do everything we can to bring our candidates across the finish line!

Voter turnout is still under 20% countywide, which means there are A LOT of voters yet to contact. To that end, we are planning on a countywide effort to phone bank throughout this week at our regularly scheduled phone banks, but we also want a big focus on Saturday. I know it’s Halloween, so we will keep the phone bank hours within reason.

For the city districts, phone banking will take place at the Hutchison HQ. For you east siders, we are working on a Bellevue location, but I also have a few other locations I’m working on so folks don’t have to travel too far from home.

We wanted everyone to be aware that we’re going to start working on the logistics first thing Monday morning, so you may be receiving a phone call from either Jason or myself.

In addition, we also wanted to let you know we’ll be extending phone banking hours at the KCGOP office. The office will be open for phone banking in the evening tomorrow, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday only if need be, Sunday afternoon, Monday evening, and Tuesday during the day. Please let your PCOs know they are welcome to come and phone bank at any time.
